Beautifying Your Home

"Learning how to deal with what you are happy
to follow while you everything you want. "- Jim Rohn

How often do I travel often on how dramatically my mood changes depending on where I live in amazement. I have stayed a few very nice hotels that were so warm and inviting, I loved it in my room. Other rooms were so dark and uninviting, I took down my mood. Our environment and surroundings play a big role in how we feel on a day-to-day basis. Think about it. WhenYour home is messy, chaotic, confusing and filled with piles, how do you feel? My guess is "stressed" is one of the adjectives that top your list. Likewise, if our homes are clean and straightened we feel at peace.

So why not a dream house for himself? You do not need million-dollar budget and a designer to help. Instead, approach the house with the same mentality we bring to this challenge - one days, a move that one project - at a time.

The mission of beautificationYour home is an ongoing process. I highly recommend getting a separate binder for this project. I embellish a folder with dividers for each room of the house that I wanted "to." Then when I found pictures, ideas or suggestions, I would store the information behind the applicable room tab.

The process of revision of your home is like if we take the Master task list is created. Choose a space in which to start. Sit down for a good twenty minutes, but actually all the elementsFurniture, textures and colors of the room. Then imagine how you want to be the room. Do not be shy, write down everything that spirit, no matter how crazy it seems, comes. It can be things on your list that are not practical right now and that's okay. These notes give you a guide to the features and the mood that you create in the room and you may be able to find a cheaper alternative. (For example, in a room I would have loved new hardwood floors. Instead, I found thatThe current loops have wood floors and covered them with inexpensive rugs purchased at a wholesale market, created the nice warm feeling that I was looking for.)

Here are some concrete things to think, in each room:
COLOR: Are the walls make the room? If your house has all white walls look at playing with color. Painting a room is the quickest way to get him a fresh look. Stenciling is another option for those who do not want that full paint makeover brave. If youwant to keep your white walls, are there prints or paintings that could be added to give the room a new tone? What types of prints and paintings would you enjoy — abstract, contemporary, wildlife? What colors should the paintings emphasize to help coordinate the overall color of the room?

FURNITURE: Are there pieces of furniture that need to be refinished, repaired, or replaced? Are there any pieces you would like to add?

WINDOWS: Do you like your current window coverings? If not, what would you prefer? Would you like to go with a valance? Blinds? No pads?

DECORATIONS: What elements could be added to change the tone of the room? How about a little fountain in a room where you want to relax? Wells are found very cheap at stores like Target or Wal-Mart. If an arrangement of candles or dried flowers in the room? Could you remove items to simplify the space? Could you swap items with items from another area of the house for ato feel fresh?

Foliage: What about plants? Plants quickly provide a new feeling in the room. If you have a bad history, have with plants, do not despair. Visit your local garden center and explain a very durable plant for someone without a "green thumb". These garden experts can help you select the plant that is best for you.

Flooring: How do you want your floors to look? Would you like carpets, flooring, hardwood, or to lay new tile?

Idea-Gathering
Collecting ideascan be a very fun step. Start by paging through magazines and find beautiful room. For example, if you are in your living room, begin by noting that a living room have about or feel you want in your own four walls to simulate. Do not worry if you do not something that is exactly what you want to find, you can take a picture of furniture and paintings from another clip. Here are a few more sources for idea-gathering:

1. If you have a friend who "clicks" for displays and hasInterior design to help her and want to take into account recommendations.

In this way you can sleep in one room, while working on the others and notCause a lot of clutter or interference in the home.

Note that decoration and implementing a new face, a room must not be expensive or time consuming to be aware. Adding a new print on a wall, colorful pillows to a sofa or a couple of plants new life into a tired room.
